Requirements:

• 6 months of retail sales and/or customer service experience is required.
• An active Property and Casualty License is mandatory.
• Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.
• The role is primarily home-based with occasional travel to office locations.

Responsibilities:

• You will quote and sell insurance policy premiums to incoming sales prospects.
• You will advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage relative to their circumstances.
• You will run reports from multiple systems to verify potential insured’s information.
• You will explain coverage and payment options to customers.
• You will follow up on unsold leads for potential sales.
• You will service existing customer policies and make necessary changes.
• You will ensure adherence to underwriting requests and improve retention.
• You will attend sales meetings and training to maintain state licensing.
