The Learning Policy Institute (LPI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education policy and practice through rigorous, independent research. We work at the national level, connecting policymakers with evidence-based insights to strengthen the PreK-12 education system. Our research focuses on critical areas like school finance equity, educator quality, school design for whole-child development, and assessment & accountability. We translate complex research into actionable recommendations, impacting educational policy and practice across the nation. LPI values collaboration and a commitment to excellence, offering a supportive and inclusive work environment. Our team leverages a robust tech stack, including Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare hosting, and various APIs (AJAX Libraries API, reCAPTCHA v2) to manage and share our research findings effectively. We prioritize data-driven decision-making and utilize tools like CrUX Top 50m for performance analysis. While we are a smaller organization (51-100 employees), we have a significant impact on the national educational landscape. Our commitment to evidence-based solutions and equitable outcomes sets us apart. We are currently seeking seasoned research leaders to join our team as Principal Researchers or Research Managers, and offer competitive compensation and benefits, including opportunities for professional development. We encourage applications from individuals passionate about improving education for all students. LPI offers a flexible work environment with opportunities for remote work, allowing talented individuals across diverse geographical areas to collaborate effectively. LPI's work has been recognized through substantial grant funding, demonstrating the impact and credibility of our research. We are a growing organization committed to expanding our research portfolio and furthering our mission of equitable and empowering learning for all children.
