Principal CPA, Director of Tax

Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for deliverables.
Lead and mentor the tax team, including a senior tax manager and three tax accountants.
Prepare personal and corporate tax planning documents and adjust payroll settings.
Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Respond to client tax notices and inquiries regarding reporting and strategy.
Perform tax projections and scenario modeling within tax software.
Research federal and state income, payroll, and sales tax issues.
Provide recommendations on organizational structure, entity formation, compensation, and retirement plans.
Assist clients with government programs and grant opportunities.
