🔍 Accounting

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Bill.com, Expensify, and/or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in small business bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and tax filing procedures.
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Process invoices, track receivables, and ensure timely payment of bills.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
  • Record, categorize, and monitor business expenses for tax purposes.

  • Assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses as needed.
  • Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in the general ledger.
