About Foster America
Foster America pioneers a just and equitable alternative to the traditional child welfare system. You will help keep families together, ensuring parents and children access vital resources. We partner with communities and local governments, designing solutions alongside bold leaders. Our work focuses on preventing unnecessary family separation, supporting families, and developing changemakers. We launched the Fiscal Leadership Circle in 2024 to use fiscal strategies for family preservation. In 2025, we started the Technology Leadership Circle to refine tech-based solutions with lived experience. Our total revenue in 2024 was over $10 million, supporting our mission to transform how our nation supports families.
How We Work
You will join a team deeply committed to transforming family-serving systems. We believe diversity of lived experience and professional background is essential. Our team members work with humility and adaptability, centering lived experience in all our initiatives. Collaboration is key; we build strong partnerships across teams, jurisdictions, and sectors. While some roles are remote, like our Colorado Site Director, others might be hybrid, fostering a flexible work environment. We emphasize continuous learning, inquiry, and innovative approaches to systems transformation.
