Requirements:

• 10+ years previous experience in investment banking, strategic advisory, or consulting roles working with insurance and reinsurance companies.
• Extensive network within (re)insurance company executives.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry, familiarity with insurance linked securities or structured finance products is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to sell new financial products to c-suite executives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills, including excel modeling.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other graduate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Leads business development with (re)insurance companies to source ILS transactions.
• Owns the transaction process from the initial pitch to the risk originator to winning the deal including financial modeling, presentations, and due diligence.
• Accountable for deal execution including investor marketing, due diligence, and negotiations leading to transaction closing.
• Provides feedback to product teams developing platform features for (re)insurance companies.
