Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
• Expertise with two of the three major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with IBM Cloud is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Cloud optimization tools such as Spot/CloudCheckr, Cloudability, Flexera.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance principles.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, ELK).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead efforts to optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to define cloud architecture strategies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring (Infrastructure-as-Code).
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies, including containerization, serverless architectures, and microservices.
• Implement and evangelize cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud systems.
• Mentor junior cloud engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise to support their growth and development.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
