Proven experience in Shopify theme customization and e-commerce merchandising, preferably in an agency setting.
Proven experience in content management systems and content modeling.
Intermediate proficiency in CSS is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience with Figma and working from Figma designs.
Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, UX/UI design principles, and best practices.
Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, with experience working remotely.
Experience with project management tools and workflows is a plus.
Proven ability to analyze data and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Customize Shopify themes to meet merchants’ branding and design requirements, including modifying text, images, fonts, colors, and other visual elements.
Create metafields and metaobjects for Figma designs, ensuring that each merchant’s content model accurately reflects their data structure.
Enter data provided by the merchant into their Shopify store, ensuring both accuracy and completeness.
Communicate discrepancies found during store setup with the delivery team, ensuring efficient delivery of storefronts.
Conduct thorough testing of Shopify stores for functionality, performance, and user experience. Compare designs to the merchandised stores and rectify differences.
Optimize product pages to effectively showcase product information, images, and user flow.
Implement intuitive navigation menus and product filters that match store designs, organizing products into categories for easy discovery.
Ensure all Shopify stores are fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, testing across various devices and screen sizes.
