Candidates must share the mission and values of Mercari Group.
Must be a student aged 16 or older who can join as a new graduate between July 2025 and June 2026.
Show interest in working as a software engineer after the internship.
Possess basic knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
Experience in developing and operating products.
Experience in backend (Go, PHP, Java) or frontend (JavaScript, React) or mobile (iOS/Android with Swift/Kotlin) or machine learning.

Interns will be tasked with developing features for the Mercari marketplace app in Japan or the Merpay mobile payment service.
Work will involve projects to improve the UX and product specifications, focusing on making the products more user-friendly.
Interns may participate in improving the search screen and listing experiences.
At the end of the internship, interns are expected to report their work and results at a dedicated event.
