Requirements:
  • 5+ years commercial real estate title review and underwriting experience with major national title insurer.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides customers and title and escrow staff with timely answers to title underwriting and escrow issues impacting their particular transactions.
  • Works closely with sales manager and sales staff to develop new business.
  • Reviews and negotiates Indemnity Agreements and Escrow Funding Agreements.
  • Collaborates with company offices on legal and transactional issues.
  • Monitors and assigns work tasks to ensure high productivity levels.
  • Reviews surveys, performs survey readings, and drafts responses to title objection letters.
  • Provides general assistance to Agency's title counsel in underwriting and coordinating transactions.
  • Orders searches, follows up with locals for reports and missing documents.
  • Interacts with internal team members and clients to meet service standards.
  • Prepares settlement statements and disbursement requests.
  • Underwrites and assists in closing commercial transactions.
