Senior Engineer - Developer Experience

Requirements:

• You know your way around cloud environments, distributed systems and microservices (AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes).
• You are familiar with server-side languages, primarily Kotlin and TypeScript.
• You have experience with testing frameworks including Cypress, Mockk, JUnit, Testcontainers.
• You understand DevOps culture and tools, specifically GitHub Actions, Gradle, Terraform.
• You have knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Datadog.
• You are skilled with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• You work in English with ease, never stop being curious and love learning about new languages, frameworks and working styles.
• You have experience solving complex technical challenges at scale and ensure a high bar for quality and reliability within your team.

• You will not only work within a team but also look across Pleo to identify, build, and deliver systemic improvements to help everyone be better and move towards their vision.
• You’ll provide frameworks, libraries, developer tools and guides to make the life of an engineer as enjoyable as possible.
• You’ll be building features incrementally, prioritizing early feedback and iterative development.
