Tech Lead - Data Platform

Requirements:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in writing Automated Tests.
• Expertise in monitoring and automated alerting of services.
• Experience writing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
• Cloud computing experience, especially around ETL, orchestration, and permissions.
• Expertise in at least one OOP language (Python, Java, Scala).
• Experience writing SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the new strategy for a Data Platform focusing on shared infrastructure.
• Work on aspects of infrastructure, including access control, monitoring, and cost allocation.
• Provide tools for data cataloguing and quality while speeding up adoption for Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI users.
• Engage with stakeholders to ideate and build Kobalt’s Data Platform and Data Mesh.
