5+ years of production-level SRE/DevOps experience in a cloud-based environment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other STEM related fields, and/or equivalent professional experience and demonstration of consistent career growth.
Experience with Linux (or any UNIX OS) System Administration, Networking, Storage, Compute and Virtualization.
Strong familiarity of cloud concepts, platforms, distributed systems, and networking.
Strong Cybersecurity awareness/experience (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
Experience in participating and leading incident bridges.

You will be working in Advanced Operations (AO) on the Site Reliability Development/Engineering (SRD/SRE) team for US Gov Operations with shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and/or technology areas.
Responsible for the design and delivery of the critically important stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
Authority for end-to-end performance and operability.
Partner with development teams and Point Operations (PO) in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture.
Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles.
Act as ultimate point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
