Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA with 6+ years experience in an applicable role within regulated EMI business or Bank.
  • Ability to take ownership of the development of a wide range of processes within a new finance function.
  • Experience of all relevant regulations within Electronic Money Institution, including Safeguarding Reconciliations and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience of having worked in a Matrixed Organisation.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of a best-in-class control environment.

  • Ability to be flexible & adaptable.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and challenge the development of financial and reporting processes within regulated entities.
  • Delivery of financial & treasury reconciliations for local entities, particularly client funding reconciliations.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial accounts including budget to actuals review.
  • Delivery of regulatory returns for regulated entities.
  • Support review and presentation of capital requirements.
  • Involvement in the statutory audit process for local legal entities.
  • Primary contact with the Group Financial Control team for understanding between Group and local entities.
  • Develop a robust control environment and maintain the risk register for the Finance function.
  • Support Group FP&A team with ad-hoc requests related to both local entities and broader Group agenda.
