Requirements:
  • 4+ years experience in software development or related fields.
  • Experience in improving engineering processes.
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, BuildKite, cloud computing.
  • Experience with build, test, deploy automation using gradle, and kind.
  • Python/Kotlin development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS and/or other cloud providers is a plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, docker, and AWS EKS is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Build scalable developer productivity solutions for Affirm Engineering.
  • Design and develop automated solutions that enable developers to maintain productivity.
  • Create solutions for build, CI, release workflow, deployment automation, and environment management.
  • Grasp and analyze developer usage to drive improvements.
  • Build tools to measure operational performance of developer experience.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and release engineering for efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends for developer efficiency.
