Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a general-purpose programming language (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C++).
  • Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and basic Thrift.
  • Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
  • Proven track record of developing and enhancing scalable and reliable serving systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to execute on product and business strategy.
  • Build novel products and features that enhance user engagement.
  • Contribute to the full development cycle including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications and mocks.
  • Participate with a team of motivated engineers to improve developer workflows and standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers to enhance their technical expertise.
  • Focus on continuous learning and improvement of both technical and non-technical skills.
