• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, and exchanges.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain trading systems for market making on behalf of the Avalanche Foundation, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Create integrations for order routing and market data with multiple exchanges using REST and websocket APIs.
• Design and implement robust risk management and hedging solutions to reduce risk.
• Optimize order placement algorithms to enhance execution efficiency and minimize funding rate payments.
• Build comprehensive trade analytics scripts to monitor PNL, positions, and risk for actionable insights.
• Continuously improve system performance and decrease latency.
