Test Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and HTML
• Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA
• Familiarity with performance testing tools
• 1-3 years of CI/CD experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field with a focus on software testing
• Is an excellent communicator in both verbal and written form
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing techniques, best practices, and tools
• Ability to prioritize critical issues and execute in an organized manner
• Has a passion for food and a desire to create engaging experiences for a global community of food lovers

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a test automation framework for efficient testing
• Collaborate closely with development team for test scope, requirements and passing criteria
• Participate in design reviews to assess test feasibility and provide inputs to the development team
• Setting up both manual and automated testing environments
• Conduct automated functional, regression, UI, and performance testing
• Report bugs, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes
• Enhance and maintain automated CI/CD
• Document test automation processes
• Communicate test results and insights with key stakeholders for product improvement
