Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe and z/OS Systems Programming.
• Experience with z/OS internals (JES2, SMS, HSM), TCP/IP, and VTAM.
• Proficiency in JCL, IBM Utilities (such as IEBGENER), REXX (Python is a plus), VSAM, DB2, and sequential data formats.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Cobol and IBM Assembler; Java experience is a plus.
• Experience with z/OS Operations activities, including IPLs and console operations, is a plus.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior systems programmers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide delivery work for the client and lead 8-10 entry level systems programmers.
• Work with stakeholders at all organizational levels to gather strategic imperatives.
• Support business unit managers with implementation of client business plans.
• Provide input into governance processes to achieve key goals and deliver value.
• Assist clients with problem definition and lead consulting projects.
