Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in architecture/engineering/construction and BIM/VDC, especially in the Bentley environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or AEC-related discipline preferred.
  • Expertise in the generation and development of BIM models, drawings, project management applications within Bentley Environment.
  • Expertise in Bentley Open Buildings.
  • Familiarity with Point Cloud.
  • Expertise in understanding and interpreting an array of design, construction, and fabrication documents for major disciplines.
  • In-depth understanding of multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities:
  • Project model setup and management in ProjectWise for OpenBuilding models: directory structure, model files, geo-coordinates, and model exchanges.
  • Perform modeling in OpenBuildings, OpenRoads, OpenGround, and OpenRail platforms.
  • Conduct 3D trade coordination meetings and support management of coordination efforts.
  • Understand different standards and their suitability for different types of project work/clientele.
  • Develop best practices and templates as required for either projects or in-house initiatives.
  • Oversee, manage, direct, and perform complex interdisciplinary 3D coordination efforts.
  • Develop and lead research initiatives in conjunction with VDC Management, supervising research by others.
  • Oversee development, augmentation, and implementation of EnTech and agency-specific BIM standards.
  • Lead QA/QC and BIM management for models setup in Bentley platforms.
  • Troubleshoot software, processes, and technical issues.
  • Complete project deliverables on time and within budget.
