Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, automotive design, mechanical engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial design (or equivalent field) with a focus on prototype, design development, and production development.
Proficiency in Alias software and industry surface design best practices from concept to Class-A.

💡 Responsibilities

Work closely with designers to translate sketches and CAD models into accurate Class-A surfaces whilst maintaining original design intent.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate conceptual design input into production design surfaces.
Evaluate design concepts for feasibility, surface quality and manufacturability, providing feedback and recommendations for optimization.
Maintain digital surface documentation related to surface development, as well as an organized library of design files and versions for project tracking.
