Requirements:
  • Proven track record in UI/UX design, preferably for media streaming platforms or content recommendation systems with direct-to-consumer experience.
  • Experience designing for TV platforms, remote control navigation, or similar interfaces is a strong plus.
  • Experience with short form content exploration is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven personalization and content recommendation interfaces.
  • Understanding of video content ecosystems, including FAST channels and short-form video behavior.
Responsibilities:
  • Channel navigation.
  • User interactions with a new platform that brings digital-native experiences to streaming TV (skipping, replaying, or deep-linking to FAST channels).
  • Data reporting dashboards on engagement and viewing metrics
  • Design intuitive user flows across platforms (TV, web, and mobile).
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for features like:
  • Ensure seamless integration with TV platform remote controls.
  • Create a visually cohesive interface that highlights genres (e.g., Comedy, Drama, Sports) and short-form content channels.
  • Define overlay designs for our new product, incorporating channel-branded logos and call-to-action elements.
  • Ensure consistent branding across ad-hoc and FAST channels.
  • Work with product managers and developers to implement our new products API and UX requirements on TV platforms.
  • Translate technical requirements into actionable design specifications.
  • Conduct usability testing to refine user interactions with short-form content playback behavior, including skip/replay actions and indefinite looping.
  • Iterate on designs based on analytics, user behavior, and feedback.
