Requirements:
  • 5-7 years in social media analytics and data strategy
  • Strong understanding of how paid, earned, and owned media work together
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the importance of data strategy and its value to the agency.
  • Translate quantitative findings into actionable insights through storytelling in both internal and client presentations.
  • Share insights on cultural trends and audience behavioral shifts in order to inspire breakthrough creative thinking.
  • Formulate and establish a strong data and reporting POV that DMM will use to measure success across social media campaigns.
  • Act as the resident expert on social media platform analytics (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and tools, such as Rival IQ.
  • Evaluate and recommend additional analytics and consumer research tools, manage relationships with vendors, and lead internal training on new tools.
  • Identify ways to improve how we measure and report on campaign success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media analysts with a focus on growth, learning, and development.
  • Scope and prioritize the team’s work based on business needs.
  • Partner with the strategy team to lead and develop social audits, playbooks, and new business pitches.
  • Contributes to defining and expanding the agency's POV, capabilities, and offerings in social media analytics, by identifying trends and opportunities to enhance analytics solutions, helping ensure the agency remains competitive and aligned with client needs.
