Senior Legal Counsel

Requirements:

• 6-7 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house
• Minimum 3 years in a tech scale-up in payments, FinTech, or SaaS
• Qualified English solicitor or equivalent
• Experience managing teams of lawyers or paralegals
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Support the General Counsel and advise business teams
• Lead, manage and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
• Draft and advise on data protection agreements and policies
• Identify potential issues and collaborate with stakeholders
• Monitor legal implications of evolving regulations
• Ensure effective contract management
• Assist in developing risk and compliance policies
• Provide second-line advice on employment matters
• Support corporate and governance matters
