Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a Technical Sales role, ideally in a similar industry
  • A proven interest in engineering and design with a natural curiosity
  • A love of building long and lasting relationships with people at all levels
  • The ability to manage your own time and priorities efficiently and proactively
  • A willingness to develop and grow your skills
  • A Civil Engineering related degree or working towards a relevant professional qualification with a good understanding of constructions standards
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel throughout the South of England, ideally living on patch
Responsibilities:
  • Providing engineering and design solutions within the specialist area of Pavement Engineering.
  • Work closely with the external sales teams, becoming the ‘go-to’ for technical design advice.
  • Get out, alongside the external sales team, to a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders to confidently deliver information.
  • Create technical proposals, build and deliver engineering-focused CPD presentations and provide support to the resolution of on-site issues.
  • Support the development of new products, systems and design methodology.
  • Develop a network of contacts and relationships within the engineering community
