• 4+ years of people management experience in engineering leadership.
• Experience in frontend or fullstack engineering.

• Passionate about building scalable, reliable systems.
• Strong technical intuition regarding engineering trade-offs.
• Deep understanding of modern web technologies and best practices.
• Experience in designing frontend infrastructure for scalable web apps.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, observability, and security practices.
• Experience with frontend testing strategies and CI/CD automation.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set the vision and strategy for web development standardization and scaling at Headway.
• Lead and grow a high-impact team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Drive adoption of best practices for quality, accessibility, and scalability in web applications.
• Develop and maintain experimentation frameworks for A/B tests and controlled experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand user needs and ensure platform value.
• Measure and iterate on platform capabilities based on defined KPIs and feedback.
