Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Seven years of casualty claims adjusting experience including three years in a specialty line.
• Excellent knowledge of claims function and insurance contracts.
• Strong investigative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain applicable state licenses.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and evaluates claims to verify coverage and payees.
• Investigates specialty claims with legal counsel as needed.
• Documents claims activities and prepares reports.
• Negotiates settlements and manages litigation strategies.
• Communicates with insureds and claimants throughout the claims process.
• Prepares evaluations and collaborates for favorable outcomes.
