Requirements:

• Professional Liability Insurance experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree with Emphasis in Business or Risk Management preferred.
• Excellent communicator and relationship driven professional.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Experience working in a paperless environment preferred – strong PC skills required.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to balance multiple tasks/objectives.
• Ability to work well with others in a production team environment.
• Committed to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Placement of brokerage business with carrier partners.
• Production underwriting.
• Cultivating relationships with carriers and retail agents, marketing & business planning.
• Negotiating rates and terms, evaluating coverage & forms.
• Driving the sales process on both new & renewal business for a lead New Business Broker.
