Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a preferred background in banking, lending, or the financial industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights to management.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Work closely with management and other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
