Embedded Linux Engineer (Remote)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Embedded Linux (Yocto and Buildroot) experience.
• High-level proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience writing drivers in a bare metal environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading discussions with clients.
• Experience using testing tools for embedded systems (e.g., Ceedling, Google Test, CppUTest).
• Experience with Git, unit testing, automated builds, and modern embedded workflows.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and debug hardware-level issues.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in company meetings and activities as requested.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Lead projects, including work breakdown and architectural discussions.
• Develop, program, review, and test firmware and electronics.
• Maintain build systems, code repositories, and documentation.
• Maintain customer communication and prioritize quick responses.
• Suggest improvements to company processes and training programs.
• Travel < 10% of the time to client meetings as requested.
