Requirements:

• 4–6 years in backend development with a strong foundation in quality, production-grade backend systems.
• Solid problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex backend issues.
• Familiarity with distributed system design and microservices architecture.
• Effective communicator for cross-functional collaboration.
• Passionate about user-centric backend solutions.
• Proficiency in Python required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is necessary.
• Experience with RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL API design.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, IaC, containerization, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop backend capabilities for real-time, bidirectional communication using WebSockets.
• Participate in architectural decisions, ensuring backend systems are scalable and optimized for high availability.
• Create efficient data storage and processing solutions emphasizing data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other teams.
• Diagnose and resolve backend performance bottlenecks to enhance system efficiency.
