Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED with a minimum of one year auto appraisal experience required.
• Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or Technical School Degree preferred.
• State appraiser and claim handling licenses preferred.
• Strong technical background in auto repair and claims processes.
• Proficiency in claims appraisal systems and Microsoft Windows, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision, this position inspects, estimates, negotiates, and evaluates 1st and 3rd party auto physical damage claims.
• Delivers consistent service quality throughout the claim life cycle, ensuring effective communication and follow-through.
• Scopes claims using technical expertise to determine physical claim value.
• Prepares and documents vehicle damage appraisals and partners with assigned Claim Professionals for claim resolution.
• Negotiates settlements and communicates claim damage assessments.
• Participates in the Catastrophe Response Program as required.
