Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of nonprofit fundraising and relationship management experience, especially in Major Gifts.
• Self-motivated individual with proven success in securing major gifts of $25K or higher.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
• Articulate Farm Sanctuary’s mission and values effectively.
• Experience in creating and managing revenue forecasts and donor pipeline analysis.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
• Experience working with CRM databases.
• Alignment with Farm Sanctuary’s values of compassion, understanding, integrity, transformation, and freedom.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a regional portfolio of approximately 200 existing and prospective donors.
• Conduct face-to-face donor meetings requiring travel throughout the Northeast.
• Track progress toward fundraising goals and develop strategies for securing support.
• Conduct regular outreach, including in-person, virtual, and phone communications.
• Collaborate with program staff to align funding opportunities with donor interests.
• Work closely with leadership to strengthen donor relationships.
• Support planning and coordination of fundraising events.
• Ensure effective recordkeeping and follow-up on all gifts.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Farm Sanctuary’s mission and goals.
• Create detailed performance reports using Salesforce.
