Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Proven experience in data integration, modeling, and pipeline development in large enterprises or government.
• Knowledge of architectural best practices and data flow structuring.
• Familiarity with Summit Data Platform (SDP), VA Profile, and military personnel data.
• Experience with VBMS or other VA systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain interfaces between SDP and ILER for seamless data exchange.
• Implement interface between VBMS and VA Profile for reliable data transmission.
• Lead initial SDP data architecture planning.
• Organize data within SDP to meet project goals and VA compliance.
• Identify technical nuances and collaborate with teams for integration.
• Document requirements for transferring data into VA Profile.
• Collaborate on robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Provide expertise on data architecture and integration best practices.
• Develop strategies for data governance and compliance.
• Guide junior members and advise on project priorities.
• Produce technical documentation and present project status.
