Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Energy, or related engineering field of study.
  • Previous project engineering experience or similar within the energy efficiency industry in California.
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record and personal vehicle.
  • Strong oral communication, writing, analytical skills, and self-management in a professional environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Interest in sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.
Responsibilities:
  • Supports implementation of prescriptive, custom and meter-based energy efficiency projects including conducting site audits and energy modeling.
  • Conducts energy analysis for projects at medium to large commercial facilities to identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements.
  • Writes technical reports summarizing results from energy assessments to quantify project economics.
  • Conducts measurement and verification site visits to establish facility energy usage patterns and verify installation of energy savings projects.
  • Communicates and assists project stakeholders to maximize benefits of utility programs.
