Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
• 3+ years of grocery sales and account management experience in the food industry; Dairy or Refrigerated experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience calling on Natural and Key Accounts throughout Southern California.
• Prior exposure to trade management including forecasting and promotions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and trade management software.
• Established relationships with key retailer accounts and distributor relationships such as UNFI, KeHE.
• Working knowledge of SPINS, IRI, and Nielsen data platforms.
• Must have a state approved driver’s license in good standing and reliable access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Visit regional independent retailers to build relationships and provide customer-first solutions.
• Manage headquarter sales calls for key customers.
• Build and maintain rapport with distributors and identify new opportunities.
• Create and execute an annual trade promotion calendar.
• Prepare presentations for category reviews using insights.
• Ensure accurate forecasts for demand and trade spend.
• Conduct retail level store checks and attend trade shows to represent the brand.
