Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
• 10+ years of grocery sales and account management experience in the food industry.
• Dairy/Refrigerated experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 40-60% for customer appointments and trade shows.
• Located within commutable distance to a major airport on the West Coast.
• Demonstrated success leading grocery accounts, particularly with Albertson’s, Raleys, Stater Bros, and Save Mart.
• Established relationships and success with key retailer accounts.
• Proven track record in developing annual strategic plans.
• Experience engaging with Senior Leadership in JBP meetings.
• Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms.
• Proficient in Trade Analytics.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent skills in listening, presentation, negotiation, analysis, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the West Regional Sales Team with a team of 4 to achieve sales and budgetary goals.
• Build and grow partnerships with key existing and new customers.
• Drive alignment with customers on mutual goals by collaborating across teams.
• Manage a broker partner network to ensure execution and regular reviews.
• Create multi-year strategic plans for customers and distributors.
• Guide the team in developing annual trade plans for distribution growth.
• Ensure the team utilizes customer data for tracking and decision-making.
• Conduct monthly and annual reviews to forecast demand and trade spend.
• Collaborate with marketing on impactful shopper programs.
