Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years experience in customer service and account management, preferably in the employee benefits or Healthcare/Insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in meeting sales and servicing goals.
  • Knowledge of underwriting, products, services, and healthcare industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven presentation skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to travel locally via car up to 70% of the time.
  • Clean DMV record.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive service to existing accounts as part of customer retention strategy.
  • Make proactive service calls in person or via telephone to meet sales targets.
  • Formulate and implement business plans addressing client administrative issues.
  • Identify new product sales opportunities and collaborate with Account Executives.
  • Represent VSP at benefit and enrollment fairs as required.
  • Develop strong business relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of products/services to provide accurate client information.
  • Complete administrative tasks timely, including reports and expense reports.
  • Utilize sales automation system for client records and report preparation.
