Requirements:
  • Experience with TypeScript in frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js).
  • Prior experience with microservices architecture, REST API, WebSocket, database design, SQL, and CI/CD.
  • Good command of English and strong communication skills.
  • High level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility.
  • Comfort with rapid and agile development cycles.
  • Ability to create user-friendly results without designated designer support.
Responsibilities:
  • Taking ownership of all frontend-related topics owned by DevXP.
  • Managing the Veriff Backstage Software Catalog and Developer Platform instance, including its backend.
  • Ensuring that all UIs for development tooling work correctly and follow best practices.
  • Advocating for best practices in frontend development within the company and hosting the Frontend Guild.
  • Identifying and advocating the use of new technologies, libraries, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to solve complex problems.
  • Supporting frontend/UI-related initiatives with other engineering teams.
