Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative social sciences discipline or related quantitative field.
• 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, communication, or visualization.
• 2+ years specifically in education-related data analysis or research.
• Fluent in SQL and R.
• Experience with validating imperfect data.
• Experience managing large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with educational datasets like NCES and others.
• Proven ability to communicate data findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Build the organization’s research and analytic function.
• Engage with all aspects of the research function.
• Produce externally facing research products.
• Manage external research partnerships.
• Support data-informed Common App initiatives.
