Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university located in the US or Canada) & returning to school after the internship.
• Available for the full 12-week internship.
• Extraordinary talent in software engineering and ability to write high quality code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of development standard processes and experience working in a team.
• Ability to explore complex problem spaces from multiple perspectives.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with technologies like Databricks, PySpark, and Python.
• Linux proficiency, basic shell scripting, and a grasp of systems level programming preferred.
• Specific experience or knowledge in financial data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Choose and work on specific projects after joining, focusing on themes such as building frameworks for researchers and high-performance computing.
• Collaborate with talented senior and staff engineers.
• Regularly ship production code and learn engineering standard processes.
• Communicate effectively within the team and navigate ambiguity.
• Produce a retrospective and demonstrate your project to an internal audience.
