Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and other virtual platforms.
  • Experience with training, resume development, and coaching in the job market.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a remote work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists clients in writing and reviewing their civilian and federal resumes.
  • Coordinates with partnered employers for the Graduation and Hiring Fair.
  • Recruits veterans and military family members for the VETS Course.
  • Instructs the VETS Course in-person or virtually as assigned.
  • Plans, executes, and follows up with clients through various channels.
  • Provides one-on-one services such as interviewing and career coaching.
  • Addresses transition challenges and identifies barriers to employment.
  • Represents OJRV at community events and meetings with authorization.
  • Acts as a liaison between employers and OJRV clients for potential employment.
