French Translator

Requirements:

• Native-level fluency in French and English, particularly in reading and writing.
• Strong understanding of French culture.
• Experience within the translation industry or working professionally as a Translator.
• Excellent knowledge of business software applications such as Microsoft Office, memoQ, and Plunet.
• Proactive with clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Research and translation judgment skills with self-motivation, adaptability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Creating characterisation documents, glossaries, and style guides following pre-defined guidelines from the client.
• Conducting translation and revision work following provided guidelines and instructions, including First Party terminology.
• Ensuring that all work conducted meets outlined deadlines and industry-standard productivity figures.
• Providing linguistic feedback for externally carried out work.
