Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 2 years of relevant work experience in public accounting.
• Planning to or pursuing CPA designation is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Netsuite is an asset.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and think critically, including analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possess time management skills.
• Experience with financial statements and recording journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end closing process, including recording accrual, prepaid and amortization entries.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and prepaid schedules.
• Prepare internal financial statements.
• Assist with monthly variance analysis.
• Assist with year-end audit as needed.
• Assist with monthly VAT/GST requirements for multiple foreign jurisdictions.
• Other duties as assigned by the controller and assistant controller.
