Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the general ledger for accurate financial reporting.
  • Process incoming and outgoing payments including invoices, bills, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
  • Assist in payroll processing and tax calculations.
  • Prepare financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist in budget preparation and tax filings.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance.
  • Utilize accounting software for data management and reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits.
