Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working with retail at a headquarter level, OR intimate understanding of distributors and end-to-end promotional planning processes.
• Sales experience with a passion for consumer packaged goods, food, and beverage.
• Thick skin when having a sale rejected and active listening skills.
• Concise communication skills and creativity.
• Willingness to gather intelligence in stores.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients in their sell-in efforts for new item launches, category reviews, promotional vehicles, and seasonal items.
• Manage clients' day-to-day efforts in independent retailers, including planning promotions and communicating changes.
• Monitor competitive items in assigned and competitive retailers.
