Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working with retail at a headquarter level, or understanding of distributors and promotional planning.
• Sales experience in consumer packaged goods, food, and beverage.
• Active listening skills to reframe sales approaches.
• Concise communication skills and creativity to overcome communication challenges.
• Willingness to visit stores for intelligence gathering.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients in their sell-in efforts for new item launches, category reviews, promotional vehicles, and seasonal items.
• Manage clients’ day-to-day efforts with independent retailers in Wisconsin, including planning promotions, communicating pricing changes, and monitoring competitive items.
