Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices in food procurement.
• Organizational skills and awareness of deadlines.
• Proficient in German (minimum B2 level) and very good English.
• Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tableau and/or SQL beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for consumption-based planning of items needed for production.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and promote collaboration.
• Monitor trends and supply chain dynamics to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and manage procurement KPIs related to costs and supplier performance.
