Senior Director of Finance

Requirements:

• 8+ years of finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in senior finance roles.
• Experience in SaaS or technology companies is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of building and scaling finance functions in high-growth environments.
• Experience in preparing companies for and executing successful fundraising rounds.
• Deep expertise in financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK accounting standards, preferably with ACA qualification.
• Experience in implementing financial systems and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale the finance function with best-in-class processes and controls.
• Lead Strategic Finance by providing key insights to drive business decisions.
• Guide the company through fundraising activities, preparing data rooms and ensuring due diligence readiness.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Oversee month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Implement and optimize financial systems and tools.
• Develop the finance team to support scaling.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk for financial stability.
• Establish relevant metrics/KPIs and engage across the business to drive performance.
• Support international expansion efforts.
