Requirements:
- Understanding of PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience in backup scheduling, SNMP protocol, and network monitoring tools.
- 1-2 years in help desk or NOC roles with prior MSP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Virtualization.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/365 and Networking fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize automated monitoring systems to troubleshoot and resolve common problems.
- Manage NOC service board tickets and ensure proper documentation.
- Create scripts to streamline processes and reduce alerts.
- Resolve complex issues escalated by junior staff.
- Troubleshoot client backup issues and assist in patch management.
- Work with vendors for outages or issues.
- Review monitoring tools for best practice implementation.
- Assist with software installations and client onboarding/offboarding.
- Document all processes and systems related to job responsibilities.
